How many people are using the stock cooler with this card or is everyone water-cooling?
I'm using stock cooler and not even gonna overclock. That's how I roll.

Currently running stock. More than likely going to stay stock too. I really don't want to give up my ITX case to put a water block on this card.

i am air cooling with a 1:1 curve and never get over mid 70s even with +150 on the core. Things is so beastly it can just run stock and still crush 4k.

Anybody asked new egg how long before their back ordered cards will take to come in?
You could always put an external waterblock on it, or put a radiator on a free fan slot

They wouldn't know, but I'd say it could be anywhere from tomorrow to a month or more. They've kind of stayed sold out after the first 24-48 hours which means there might not be any stock until Nvidia's next production batch is done and shipped. You have to keep in mind that all these units that just sold out, were produced over the last 3 months or so.

I know from the GTX 1080 launch, people couldn't get them really at all after the first day of launch sold out. Many people were complaining of back order for weeks.

That's exactly why I was prepared to order as soon as it dropped. I made sure I was logged in, had my payment/shipping information already set, etc. All I had to do was a couple quick clicks. It was literally sold out right after I ordered when I refreshed the page, so any slower by even a few milliseconds and I could have missed it.

By 1:1 you mean at 40c the fan is 40% and at 80c it's at 80% ?
