Hell no. That is the least of your problems.

This was with Maxwell based video cards, but the difference was MASSIVE in both average FPS and minimum FPS in BF1.

http://www.overclock.net/content/type/61/id/3123445/width/200/height/400[/IMG]Hi all! Just wanna say hello! I finally made it to the 1080TI class! I replaced my 2 780s. Going to post some pics. It’s on a X79 platform. Older but she’ll do the job. I added a custom water loop (1st time). Studied many, many hours and this is how she turned out. I hope you guys like it.

I do have a question. I have the Aorus Waterblock edition, what should I use to overclock? I always used AB up until this card arrived a week ago.

Alton, how much do those nifty swivel fittings cost?
hmm, I think those were 9.99 from Performance-PC.com. those fittings saved the day!

Long time since I've posted in this thread.

Anyone know what's up with 1080 Ti availability?

I was thinking of selling my Zotac 1080 Ti ArcticStorm and water cooling setup to recover some cash, but I'm hardly seeing any decent 1080 Tis on sale anywhere.

Maybe he was getting a case of the hot vrms and a throttling mobo>cpu was making the gpus look bad? Might be a little variance from game to game due to arch.

Interesting claim, but good luck on finding data on it. Even x16 vs x8 is pretty sparse. Here's one to add to the list: http://www.overclock.net/t/1616578/x99-6850k-4-5-vs-z170-6700k-4-8-w-titan-xp-sli-benchmarks-and-results

But if you are going for high res the sli 1080tis will be the bottleneck. My 4770k has an easier time at 4k@60 than my ti's in new aa games and it isn't even half a 7900x.

Sorry I didn't have anything specific, but congrats on that rig thumb.gif
