Again, i saw a 1.27v bios for the 1080Ti. It's not recommended for 24/7 use, but i mostly game about 6-10 hrs a day and ofc it's not always running at 1.27v, but about 75% of the time. Still safe for daily use? Since i wanna break that 2200MHz wall rolleyes.gif I got a 1080Ti FTW3 with an EKWB nickel/plexi block on it running the XOC bios as slave. I am currently pulling between 350 and 520Watts out of my graphics card, and i don't know if my 2x8pin can handle much more.

Yes that is correct. Which side it swings to can vary between boots (I haven't done detailed testing but I suspect the main culprit for the repeated VRAM retraining is the operating temperature variances).

You can test it yourself with these two applications:

Use the NVIDIA Profile inspector to change the P2 CUDA VRAM speed throttle to force the VRAM to run at full speed in CUDA applications.
Then use the VRAM bandwidth test to parse the realtime bandwidth.

The bandwidth test is a good way to find out what clock speeds you're losing bandwidth (like you said, it's 'misaligned') smile.gif

Quite funny to see that a +50 clock increase reduces the speed by 30GB/s tongue.gif Best spot for me is +350 for 420GB/s max lol. This program is completely different than the GB/s GPU-Z provides.

you will get diminishing returns in an overclock...it is the physical limit on system

That's an excellent overclock. Is that as far as it'll go? What's sad is that is only a 10% overclock from the stock maximum boost of a 1080Ti FE.

Your second results look aligned to me. The difference between aligned and misaligned is about 3-4% performance (Directly measurable with Superposition).
