Cheapest MSI Armor is 710, then add 140 EK water block = 850. The Seahawk EK can be bought for 800, with factory warranty and pre-installed block.

If anyone wants to test it, this Palit BIOS works with our FE's and has a 350W power limit and the power slider goes to 140.

https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/193137/193137

Unzip this and run this .bat file after you flash it.

That sounds like a flaky power supply at first glance. What are the rest of your specs?

Most likely power supply. But its really hard to confirm and one of the most annoying and troublesome PC issues you can run into.

I experienced something like this recently. Turns out it was a faulty 8pin cable. Who woulda known. Spare 290x ran fine on the same cable, possibly a fail-safe that triggers on Nvidia cards.
