ASUS Prime X370 Pro - Page 5

And 0604 is exactly the same for me.

I'm going to sell this ram and try and get something with Samsung b-die.

The update in the microcode was more about bug fixes at this stage that certain instructions FMA3 were crashing Ryzen chips to crash and processor displaying incorrect frequency after coming out of sleep & they also lowered the memory latency by 6 nano seconds.
I was wondering if the effect of this lowering of latency would mean I could actually use the ram i paid for.
I'm running 2133 at cl15 and i should be running 2666 at cl15 so i thought that I've lost a few nanoseconds there.

O well I've ordered trident z rgb 3600 now anyway.
I hope I'm right (hopefully they are made with Samsung b-dies)

I have F4-3200C16D-16GTZB and I'm running 16-18-18-35 1.35v 2933Mhz. It won't post at 3200 yet, even with the new BIOS today but it's close.

What speed are you running at now? What model RAM is it? Now many board/ram configurations are working on 3200 yet.

are you using any cooling for the ram or just what ever sinks are on it?

Trident z 3600 cl16 rgb 1.35v has just arrived.
I didn't take any manual settings i tried but with d.o.c.p it booted straight up at 3200 cl16

So im up 1066mhz on my ram

And it looks great.

Then my aura lighting turned off. Tried unplugging the led strip and i got bsod.
Oops
I'm thinking this board won't automatically set ram voltage above 1.2 so if you have an issue with ram speed check that.

My board was running 3200 as 1.2 then got bsod when leds came on.

About to test 1.3v
(If not I'll just set at 1.35v (standard for this ram at 3600) and leave it)

Some ram is designed for 1.4 but other ram would never take that much.

1.3v seems like the sweet spot for 3200mhz so far
(#10min is a bit earlier to be sure)

Just the included heatsinks.

My ram is running at 30-31c
Very nice
(No need for extra heat sinks these days if it needs them they fit them normally unless you get very cheap crap)
