ASUS Prime X370 Pro - Page 6

I'm getting bsod's since i changed ram. I've tried reducing my cpu overclock a bit and that hasn't helped.
I might try dropping to 2933 on the ram.

Any one else get bsod on 3200 ram after an hour?

Idle or full load makes no difference.

Voltage makes no difference.
.................

Update dropping the ram to 2933 has been stable for a hours now

Seems odd they are single sided dims so i think they are b die.

I guess i'll have to wait for a update

I haven't been able to get my ram to OC past 2933mhz at all. It will not post if I go 3200mhz with any timings or voltage settings.

What sort of temperatures are other people seeing on the Motherboard?

Mine is still hovering @ 61c

Was thinking abot a heat sink mod if it gets any worse.

I'm running at 3.9GHz at 1.38V and I idle around 35C-38C. Load puts me around 65C. Using a H110i Extreme.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm on a 1700

about 66-67.5 here with NH-D15 (2000rpm &1500rpm). 1800x @ 3900Mhz 1.39375v. Voltage seems to average about 1.44 under load. That's the Tdie temp btw which is almost the same as cpu temp.

Kind of crazy the voltage increase needed to get to 3.9.. I'm running at 3.825 at 1.275 on my 1700.

I ordered R7 1700, this motherboard, and Corsair CMD16GX4M2B3200C16 (2x8GB 3200mhz).
This ram doesn't show up on the supported list, but I've seen some post saying they got "good results" with this ram with no details on some other forum.

Should I cancel this order and get different ram? Which ram has succeeded reaching 3200 so far?

Will appreciate quick responses because I gotta cancel the order if so!

I used that ram and could not get it to post past 2933 mhz. I ended up trading it in for some gskill trident z RGB cl 14 3200mhz, which I also cannot get to post past 2933mhz......
