Ok im back folding/boincing part time i have a few things to fold with but how hot my room is will determine how much i can really fold gets toasty in here at nighttime once i turn my box fan on to sleep. i have a Xeon X5675@4.4Ghz, a 2600k@5Ghz, a xfx Rx 480 rs@1288/2000, and a evga 1080 HC@2114@11.2Ghz. Is thier any tweaks i should use to get the most ppd out of the systems and does folding care much about gpu memory clocks i noticed on my 1080 under folding its not pushing the memory to its max clock right now im using settings below in my exta slot options. Will add my hfm screenshot when my 480 gets a few percent done on the current work unit.
max-packet-size big
next-unit-percentage 100
client-type advanced
It looks good to me. I saw you on a 1080 club thread and I'm out the loop when it comes to folding on Pascal but it is called a P2 state that restricts your memory in the folding client.
That is the way the driver handles compute tasks on Pascal. When I was testing my 1070 in Windows, I just set an OC with NVIDIA Inspector, that would bump my mem clocks up to my max stable OC.
