By the time that's released the Asus/Acer 144hz 4k HDR monitors will be out.

Add to this VA panel for best black levels and contrast .

Well my wants are simpler, 32", 1440p, 144hz and freesync. Quantum dots are probably nice and I'm sure HDR is fantastic but I would gladly trade both of those for a reasonable price and quick pixels.

32 inch is sadly way to big for me. 27 inch is max where I still feel comfortable. 32 inch is like sitting next to a TV, pretty unpleasant and 1440p starts sucking already in 32 inch lol

Also it's bound to cost 1200$ imho

Yeah, I totally agree with those posts above. Samsung just release it already!!!

@Astreon Well, you always have XB271HU or PG279Q or these new ones from AOC for example.

Personally I am starting to have my doubts if the chg70 will be 1440 considering they also showed the s25hg70 as a 2k monitor while it ended up being 1080
post #207 of 316
it's 1080p,

chg70 = cfg70 + hdr

cfg70 is 1080p (both 24 and 27 inch).

and technically 1080p is closer to 2K than 1440p tongue.gif

How are you so certain that chg70 is a 1080? There is hardly information about it, nothing confirmed. It would be a dumb move to make it 1080, especially for the 32 inch.

the 32inch is probably 1440p, but come on...

1.they advertise SHG50 as 2K and it turns out they meant 1080p
2.the CFG70 is 1080p

it's like 2+2=4

I seriously they don't think they would give the same series a different resolution according to their size.
Look at CFG70 24 and 27 inch, they both received the same resolution, no matter the size.

And looking at this picture... I would assume it's 1440p
