I find your avatar oddly satisfying with this build theme - definitely in for the journey.

Why that cooler in this build though? Seems like an odd choice in a case with 191mm of clearance.

Why not the LEPA NEOllusion considering the RGB theme?
Read Duality92's review on that cooler to get an idea why he is going to use it. I would consider putting it my new build instead of the Noctua NH-D15s I already have if it wasn't for the fact I would lose my top PCI-e slot.

How do you know what case I'm using?

Also because it's compact and I love the aesthetics of it. It's not overwhelmingly big like its performance rivals.

Did you see also how loud it gets at 100% fan????

Already did before posting here, posted my opinion of it in the comments below.

Going from your D15S to the HEX2.0 would be a side grade at best, and most definitely louder. The compatibility issues with the HEX just makes it even more of an odd product, the only place it really makes sense is in SFF builds but it blocks the fist pcie slot on most motherboards, I guess you could make it work with back to front airflow in some cases, but really?

It might make some sense in some extremely niche application, but it just seems like a really tough to justify product to me.

Just a slightly educated guess, could be wrong , but I think my guess is pretty solid.

Fair enough, its does look pretty nice, and leaves a lot of the motherboard exposed. I'm personally quite fond of big air coolers, but I definitely see where you're coming from.

Sure did, just a little louder than most high end air coolers. which is very reasonable considering the ~2500rpm fan speed.

P.S. The multicolor stars gave me a Myspace flashback... I'm hoping yours is the only post EVER to use them. Though the octopus is cool

I can edit build log titles to remove them so I have them exclusively!

I don't think it'd be a very good idea though
