Yeah but the whole idea of stepping back in sensor department when releasing a new mouse that's supposed to be successor for the other mouse sounds silly to me.

Availability, it is unlikely that they could have filled the demand with 3090, they could have gone for 3320 as well, but as we know it has that one limitation.

Actually makes sense. Although i don't think 3320 was already out at the moment of R100 release.

IIRC CW100 omg was released in early spring 2015, while the Press releases of the R100 were sent out in fall, i also think Rival Rescuer/Saviour was released before R100, anyway 305x was the better choice given a vocal minority and their problems and to the average joe in retail it just looks like an overall upgrade.

It might actually be happening tongue.gif

So a heavier DM1 Pro S? It'll probably have SS click latency too. Still buying it unless it doesn't save settings on the mouse.

Just saw the other thread. The RIval 310 weighs in at 90. Hopefully the new sensei comes in much lower. With the buttons being distinct from the main shell body, onboard memory, and weighing less than the old Sensei Raw this looks like an automatic buy. It even has good rubber side grips.

Rival 100 is smaller than sensei, and still feels pretty big in hand. I get pain in joints with the Revel even though I have hands on the larger side (19x10cm), so definitely not looking forward to the huge 310 sensei shape, but 110 is promising.

I think that's the weight of it and also the width. I was getting, first, wrist discomfort with the narrow and 85g G203. Changing mousepads fixed that. Then, my pinky started to hurt at the higher contact point because I had to grip the mouse quite firm to move it around well and also click well. Got a lot of weight off it and it's very very nice now to the point that I've heavily dropped CPI, playing more off physical movements rather than sloppily and fast with higher CPI. Now that I've got this mouse sorted out I don't think I'll buy a 310 Sensei. The 310 Rival weighs too much and this isn't 2003, I'm not using heavy mice anymore at all and I don't think I even care anymore for the beauty of a mouse in hand as long as I can play without pain and enjoy the sensor. I could have just imported the thing (DM 1 Pro S) and paid for the privilege but I just got a G203 figuring I could mod it. Like, that there thing says 110, 90g. 310 rival, 90g. The new sensei will probably weigh 90g too. News flash: no weight comes off mice of that class.

Bestbuy is selling the 3.5k cpi abyssus for like 65 bux with a mousepad. They disabled the steps over 1800 and it works fine. It's a high ride though and it cramps my hand but maybe you can use it. 68g or so and very useable throughout the cpi range. It feels weird to use but you can get used to that. It works best with fast movements.

3330 in CM Mastermouse S is really good. 3320 in Xornet II was kinda off, and Rival 100 shape is godlike, why did they release it when I bought other mice.. revel, ozone, rival700.. bloody sake
