Found some at sidewinder, and cooler guys has 3 different rpm models I'm leaning towards the 2150 rpm pwm. Hope these are the same as the originals.
Had 7 Noctuas NF-F12s on rads they did okay just wanting to try something different and maybe get better performance on my new upcoming build.

Definitely!

No, when I put my computer together 3 years ago, there was a shortage and the prices on the remainder in stock was outrageous. Next build though...

Did you have them on a fan controller by any chance?

Better performance on radiators from what I read. Truequiets and Noctuas don't work well from my exp. I'll use the NF-F12s for pull and something else for push starting with GT's if I have to end up with a fan louder n I want, so be it I guess.

I have 20 of the GT 2150's in my rig on a 6 channel fan controller, only 1 has gone bad in over 5 years since I built the rig! Between sound matting and low rpm's, quiet as a mouse normally, until I crank 'em up for folding, and still palatable. Cheers

I really like(d) my AP-14 1450rpm Scythe GTs. It's very subjective but of the 120mm fan's I've tried sofar, these have had about the nicest noise character when spun up. Never irritates (unlike a couple of generally overrated fan brands). As a downside, to be picky,...I do hear some bearing noise and sometimes vibration at certain RPMs But if you run fans at >800 rpm don't worry as you'll never hear it

I'd say go for it but there are some alternative to this (legendary) fan now that match or just surpass it. That's judging by for example the thermalbench website and having had EK Vardar F1 fans for while now that are much easier to get here down under, decently priced, effective on rads and with very, very little noise at the 500-700 rpm range they run at in my system.

Okay I've come across these which are as good if not better than Noctuas an cheaper according to doyll's site "way to better air cooling" TY-147 fan, Will get a couple of them an the GT also but just discovered the GT is not a 4 pin PWM it's a 3 pin with a pwm adapter? Don't like sound of that to much. Might as well get some vardars also. that way I got quite a stock of fans to test an play with see which sounds better an has less noise.

Just a warning... The GT 2150's are good fans and do a good job pushing air but they are fairly loud at anything above 800 RPM and I had a hard time with my Asus board getting the PWM on it to get them any lower than around 1000 RPM. At 1000 RPM they were loud as crap. If quietness is an issue for you you might want to only get one first and see how loud it is on lowest RPM.

Oh, I just meant for your reference while testing

FWIW, I think only the round A and B models are available in NA, if that helps narrow things down
