Any experience high latencies through LatencyMon? I was going to run the Metro games for some benchmarking purposes, but have since notice a TON of audio crackle/cut outs with quick mouse movement in Metro Last Light.

What is gigabyte waiting for releasing a new bios update for b350 gaming 3? Since release of Ryzen they haven't released new bios.

SIV is wrong.. trust cpu-z I would say.

Your memory isn't "compatible"

that 15.17.17.17.35 timing is trouble.

try 16.17.17.17.35
if not that
try 16.18.18.18.35

When going higher clock speeds on ram like 2666 and above odd first timings basically just says NO!

15 or 17 in the first strap might work with 2133 but now above.

14 works @ 2666Mhz for me. (14.15.14.14.28 @ 2666Mhz 1.200V)

Then SoC voltage might need a boost above 2666Mhz for stability. It's fine for me at AUTO for 0.900V but I've seen reports that more is needed for faster ram.

I finally managed to run 3200 semistable with the ga-ab350m gaming 3 and the 16gb corsair vengance lpx 3200 c16 kit. This with the f2 bios.

I was previously able to post, enter Windows and do some stuff but i would eventualy get a bsod, so i had gone back to 2933 for stability.

I now upped the soc voltaje to 1.11-1.16v ( its an offset so its not stable) and the ddr voltaje to 1.4 and i am finally stable ( or at least close to it) @ 3200.

maybe something people can try if they are not reaching the expected ram speed.

Thanks for this. Will give it a shot. F4 BIOS just came out yesterday in case you want to try it.

I've got a GA-AB350-Gaming 3 board combined with a Ryzen 1700 and G.Skill Flare X DDR4-3200 (2x8GB) RAM. The RAM went to 3200 just by selecting the XMP profile. I've been able to overclock from 3.0Ghz to 3.85Ghz by just changing the multiplier from 30 to 38.5. I upgraded the BIOS to F5 before doing anything else. I see that there's an F6 BIOS officially out now -- is it worth upgrading to? Any new features?

One feature that I'd like to see is one where the Vcore voltage was directly selectable. The RyzenMaster tool seems to be able to select the Vcore voltage within Windows and get additional overclocks but the Bios doesn't have a way of increasing the voltage except via Dynamic Vcore offset (DVID). Is this just the Gigabyte way of doing VCORE or is the VCORE setting intentionally disabled on the GA-AB350-Gaming 3? And what's the difference between Dynamic VCore and Dynamic VCore SOC?

I am thinking of buying x370 Gaming 5 and I have some questions:

1. Is this Gaming brand from Gigabyte good and durable (If I buy this board I won`t change anything until AM5 (6))? Reading reviews on x370 G5 on Newegg it has almost 50% negative reviews. Most of them states that board after some time simply dies. Also I read Intel reviews for Gaming 5 line and it is the same situation, negative reviews, board after some time simply die.

2. Does it has good fan control in BIOS? I don`t want to install any gigabyte app on windows.

3. Some member in this thread mentioned that this board kill his SSD? Is that possible?

4. M.2 place is good, no worries about heat issues?

5. Stupid question: This board has dual audio, so when I plug my headphones it will automatically switch to them, speaker will be mute? No need to manual switching between audio?

I'll just report here that F6 BIOS for the Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 has an temperature offset for CPU from the ITE IT8686E controller.

The chip reports "-10C" from what the actual Tctl/Tdie temperature is from the CPU on a Ryzen 7 1700. Be sure to take note of that. All previous BIOS I had didn't have this offset.
This causes BIOS and the Gigabyte APP software report and use -10 degrees cooler than the CPU actually is.
