My point is just because something doesn't jive with the "norm" doesn't mean we should immediately call it hearsay or worthless. Many great things have come from people thinking outside the box.
Something that SHOULD be renowned.
btw many of the "reasons" you list are not "problems" either...
Homelessness... get a job... solved
poverty... refer to solution #1.
Social injustice... so I hope I get this right... I have Black, Latino, Asian, etc friends, but I'm still a racist because I'm white? FYI there is only 1 race, the HUMAN race. - I'm trying to understand how this is a problem that needs solved via scientific research?
Mental Health... It's the video games and that darn rap music! sarcasm aside, I personally don't put this on the top of a "top priority problem list" but I'm certainly open to hear /read studies on the matter. and IS worthy of scientific research. btw I can make an argument about hearing loss, or Tinnitus for this one.
Global Warming... btw now called climate change,
What I don't get about the whole climate change issue, is how is this AMERICA'S problem... the US, is 26th of the cleanest countrys in the world.

When compared to China, or India, if this is such a major issue then why isn't the world leaders advocating to said countries saying something along the lines of "y'all better clean you're $%@ up or else." So I'll rephrase the question, why should America create new laws for Americans ONLY to follow? Doesn't make much sense to me. The good news is millions if not billions of dollars goes into Climate Change research already, so I think it's safe to say that problem is "currently under development, thank you for your patience."
Food Supply... So I understand this is an issue not necessarily in the US, but in 3rd world countries. Scientist are currently attempting to solve issues regarding food shortages, some research I've seen has been in the GMO fields... however GMO is bad... so I guess we're screwed right? In all seriousness people are on the fad of organic, however if you do the research, organic, is a pretty loose term. If you think about it, can you truly get a 100% organic seed(s)? Makes you wonder right?
Disease... Hey! winner, winner GMO chicken dinner!
