"So basically you are still looking at the 'older' Polaris GPU architecture right, but they're using a new (updated) generation fabrication node process named 14LPP. The previous node was 14LPE (Low Power Early). The new one is a 14LPP (Low Power Plus) node, an enhanced version with higher performance and lower power."

Lpp has been out for a long time. And it isn't close to being a new process.

Also the first generation of LPE wasn't suitable for anything besides small mobile chips.

They both are using LPP (low power process) I read somwhere that the old stuff was using low power early while the new cards will low power plus.
