[Kotaku] Mass Effect: Andromeda PC Benchmarked On 24 Different Video Cards - Page 5

While they are using AIB cards, the 1060 is doing better than the fury x at 1080p, it start to match in 1440p, and in 4K while both are unplayable with their settings, the 480 is a bit better.

It could definitely be that the game paths are very nvidia liked, and the game was developed on nvidia hardware and runs better on nvidia hardware. This is the same as games being developed on AMD hardware and always run better on AMD hardware.
Part of the game between the two manufacturers. Each one is playing with its own strengths. If nvidia can do more, they will definitely over use it. If AMD can use more async compute, they will definitely over use it. If the first happens its nvidia's fault and if the second its nvidia's fault? Kinda cheating on perspective isn't it?

Aren't these games developed for consoles first?

Would love to see some SLI benchmarks now that the SLI Profile has been added with the latest Nvidia drivers

They still aren't using the latest nvidia driver then because SLI is supported now, making these outdated.

Nice I get Nvidia card and they win in this game but hate this game. AMD seem to be having problem with this game. They even had a driver out before Nvidia.

290 and 780 were never 4K cards even new. Still my 290X OCed has performed very well for me at 4K given I had to lower settings. I could play Witcher 3 on High Preset at ~ 35 fps. For reference GTX1080 at Ultra gets me 45 fps.

When people say "ultra" or "max" take that with a grain of salt in most cases. The ultra preset in the game isn't "max" settings. If you select custom, there are higher than ultra settings.
I'm fully aware. Ultra doesn't have HBAO full on and that alone is like a 15 FPS hit. Regardless, I've run the trial on my 970 and a new 1080 and there is no way someone is getting those frames on a 290X at 1440p during actual gameplay with the ultra preset. On the ultra preset a 1080 is comfortable around 80-90 FPS. If you add the other 4 settings to max it drop to 70 for the most part and that's only at 1080P.

When your flagship card is 6th on the list , owch

Would put my money on the fury X being 8th if you ran all the cards at max OC

Games buggy as hell.
Been playing with the 10 hour trial and First planet and nexius frame rates were good. 80-100fps on my 980ti.
Get to 2nd planet and FPS bombs down to 10-20fps making it unplayable any further.
