Try using Mozilla's Safe Mode for a while. See if you get any crashes if using that mode.

https://support.mozilla.org/t5/Procedures-to-diagnose-and-fix/Troubleshoot-Firefox-issues-using-Safe-Mode/ta-p/1687

If you don't get crashes:

a. re-install Firefox.
b. 2) Create a new user profile in Windows 7, logout from your current profile and then login to the newly created user profile. Finally check in new profile if you get this issue with Firefox.

For creating a new user profile please follow "My computer is in a workgroup" steps from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14039/windows-7-fix-corrupted-user-profile

If you still get crashes:
a. Uninstall anti-virus program.
b. Re-install Firefox
c. Check if everything works now in Firefox.
d. Re-install anti-virus program.

If still not fixed with the above steps, you might want to consider taking off and nuking this computer from orbit. It's the only way to be sure. tongue.gifbiggrin.gif

All kidding aside hope this helps. thumb.gif

My problem with firefox well palemoon based on mozilla was plugin-container, after I disabled that all is great.
Code:
Right click on your computer icon on the desktop and click properties
    Go to Advance system settings
Click the button called "Environment Variables"
Click the “New” button under User variables or System variables depending if you want the change to affect all the users on the system or just the one you are currently logged as
Set the variable name to MOZ_DISABLE_OOP_PLUGINS and its value to 1
