7700k + Asus Z270F Overclock

Thread Starter
Hello, guys. This is my first attempt of overclocking, so.... be gentle)
Specs are - Fractal Design Define C (3 intake 120 fans, 1 - exhaust), Asus Z270F, i7 7700K, Kingston hyerX fury 2400 (2x8), Noctua u12S, Zalman ZM600-LE PSU, OCZ ARC100 240GB.
My goal for now is something mild, like 4.7.
I set multiplier to 47, AVX offset -2, core voltage mode to adaptive and set 1.28 as target turbo voltage - anything lower causes Prime95 threads to stop.
I also set LLC to level 5 and IA AC Load Line and IA DC Load Line to 0.01 (Only with this combination i get voltage in CPU-z match voltage i set in bios +- 0.5v)
Ok, time for testing.
Prime95 runs fine for half an hour, though the temps max at 95C.
RealBench passes 1 hour run with temps maxed at 85C, average - around 80C.
After it i played games for the whole day - everything's perfect. Temps in the upper 70s. The game was bf1, which is pretty CPU intensive.
But to be completely sure in system stability i decided to run realbench for 8 hours (over night). In the morning i found my PC still on, but hanging. Coolers were on full RPM, judging by noise.
Well, seems my system is almost stable. Gotta add 0.05v and be fine.
1.285 - pc rebooted itself during 8 hour pass. The same with 1.29.
May it be that instability is caused by some software (i haven't disabled antivirus during test)? Is it normal behaviour, that system got stable for hard gaming the whole day long several 'steps' ago, but still fails to stand stresstest (particular one)? I had an issue with realbench, that it fails if i choose to use 16GB of ram (i got 16 in total), no matter if i'm stock or oc. so i run test using 8GB.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
P.s.: i know that temps are high, gonna buy D15 in a couple of weeks, but not sure if it would help with stability.

Best bet is to find a Kaby Lake OC Guide on OCN.

I would start by setting the LLC to a higher level and going Manual Mode.

thanks, i read it. it offers to start at 1.35 and 4.8.
So i'd better wait for new cooler)
Can't decide if i should go for AIO like cryorig a80, or d15 will do fine.

Bought d-15. Ran realbench successfully for 4 hours. The temperatures are still pretty insane. Up to 90 in stress test. Hovering around 80.
Saw absolutely no benefits. Spent money in vain.
But it got pretty quiet with this cooler during games. That is nice.

P.s.: with 4.5 i got 100% core load spikes, when playing amien in bf1, with 4.6 they don't reach 100. So i ran 5-way optimization, got stable 4.6 and just F*** IT!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE, it's not even worth it)))
