It really depends on the games that you play. You will see a bigger jump on games that are CPU intensive, and little improvement in others. Personally, I think you would be better off upgrading those gtx 780s since a 2600k is still a great CPU.

For what usage?
You won't notice SSD upgrades beside benchmarks or "server" use, if your mobo supports PCIe4x SSDs anyway without a PCIe slot card. Yeah it doesn't. You would need a PCIe card to use the new SSD. The board doesn't have an M.2 4x not even 2x.
7700K is a waste of money and not an upgrade, more of a side grade from existing 4C/8T CPUs.
Get 1700 or 1700X, B350 or X370 mobo. That's what I call an upgrade. 8C/16T with a new platform that won't be obsolete for 3 years unlike Z270 that is EOL already.

but that 2600k overclocked to 4.5 to 4.8 will still beat that ryzen in gaming... soooo if that's what he's doing then it's not worth it.
I'm in the same situation op. i do about 50% 1440p ultrawide gaming + vr and 50% 4k rendering and trying to figure out what to do....reason i don't want ryzen is poor overclocking and lesser game performance than my 6 year old cpu. so i'm debating between 7700k and 6800k or waiting for coffee lake. 2600k still chugging along though at 4.6 all these years.
