Hi guys,
I recently attempted to overclocking my AMD CPU and I decided to approach it by going towards the Reference Clock/HT rate instead of the usual Multiplier method. I was able to pump my reference clock rate from the stock 100 MHz to 124 MHz. I haven't tested stability of the system using Prime95 yet, but was able to successfully boot into Window. I felt like I can push the reference clock rate a little bit higher for this processor, but as soon as I try to increase it to 125 MHz, the system wouldn't even boot to window at all. I initially thought that the high NB frequency (my NB Multiplier is locked to 16x) was causing the issue, so I tried to increase the CPU/NB voltage from the stock 1.13 V to 1.3 V hoping to bring some stability to the system. Unfortunately, I still couldn't boot into window at all. So, I would like to ask for advice on how to further overclock the reference clock rate of this CPU. Or apparently I lost the silicon lottery and have reached the limit for this chip. I also attached images of my BIOS setting below. thank you for your helps.
