Sorry for the late reply. I just searched my programs in add / remove programs I don't have any Intel software installed.
What OS does your friend use? I'm on Windows10. After reading about similar issues, I think this issue may have to do with the motherboard sometimes giving priority to the integrated graphics (on the motherboard) and sometimes giving priority to the D-GPU. I don't know how to find out though, but maybe looking in the BIOS may help. Alternatively I considered disabling the motherboard's i-GPU in Device Manager but am afraid that may cause complete lack of display rather than at least being able to get output for the mobo. Thoughts? I have to check what my BIOS key is and maybe check it out.
