Y'all know PTFE. What about other materials that are available in similar thicknesses that'll increase friction on the mousing surface? Originally, I was looking for a mousepad that had crazy high amounts of friction but no glaziers were replying to my emails so I decided to remove the mousefeet on the G102 and use the base as the contact surface and, as you might guess, the friction increased tenfold... and I love it... apart from the feet "rims" digging into the pad, creating inconsistency. So, I'm looking for a material that will "graze" as opposed to "glide".
oh actually there was a mouse skate that did that - I believe it was the carbon skates from tiger gaming.. literally feels like sandpaper when gliding lol
They're not particularly well made IMO and can be too thick for some mice. I am uncertain of which exact versions I tried but they are certainly what you described. They also last very long.
