Graphics Card Diagnostics

I am having a problem with a stuttering graphic output. During video playback there is a slight but noticable pause on fast action. Also moving the mouse shows the same thing.

A few days ago I made some repairs because the system kept crashing. I solved the crashing problem by replacing the fan on the graphics card. I think it had worn out.

I am not sure if this new fan is doing its job well enough or if there is some permenant damage done to the card or other hardware.

Just to be sure i updated the drivers - but no change.

Could someone please recommend some diagnostic software help me fix this problem?

Just been testing a few things.

It seems that the stuttering only occurs when i am running firefox ! (version 2.0.0.2)

I have been into firefox options but can't find anything to solve the problem.

Anyone else had this problem?

Sounds to me your codecs are messed. Did you install anything like a codec pack or a new media player?

make sure that you are using the correct drivers....some older cards dont like using the latest drivers
