Hi, oh well here's my second post already.
Wanted to seek answers on this since I am sick of the Intel fan, I mean they cool well enough for me to not go through a bsod and are surprisingly quiet but I just need a change lol.
So I measured the space from my CPU to the side panel of my case and it's around 15 cm (150 mm) and now I'm limited in choice for CPU coolers, I guess I'll have to go with a slim one.
Anyways I'm on a strict budget of 3000 Pakistani ruppees or (30$), ordering from Amazon so it makes more sense.

Don't know which Amazon site you will order from... but if you can stretch the budget a tiny bit, the cryorig h7 or thermalright true spirit 120m would probably be the best optiona around that budget/size constraint.

Otherwise, the options don't look so good.

There is the deepcool gammaxx s40

What websites can you buy from? If you could give use a link to it we can look and see what is best value.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all your replies, since I wasn't getting replies I kinda forgot about this. I am still not sure about this.
Kept my eye on Cryorig C7 but they never have any sales on.
About the site I am not buying from Pakistan, I am buying from any trustworthy site in America, my cousin will be bringing it for me when he visits Pakistan so I can avoid customs.
But I am about to make a final decision since there isn't much time so still open for suggestions.

I do not like flat coolers because they do not keep their heated exhaust air separate from their cool intake air. Tower coolers are much better for that reason. So your cousin is bringing it from America?

There's other options if you're buying from USA.

125mm tall Be quiet pure rock slim for example

Another one maybe you might be able to use is the Deepcool Gammax S40 with 143mm height
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CVWQEIW/

& the cryorig from earlier https://www.amazon.com/CRYORIG-Mini-Tower-Cooler-INTEL/dp/B0177GTTB0/
Yup looked into these thanks.

But the problem is that even you provided 3 choices now I don't know what could be the best.

There aren't many choices in normal sized cooler that could be less than 150mm. And yes he is bring it from America.

There are not many options in this price point and size restriction. Almost all of the options that have been listed for 120mm fan coolers will be within a degree or two. There is no real BEST that we can choose, since they all have different merits.

The options that I would choose would be the Cryorig H7, or Thermalright 120m BW RevA. They are a few dollars more than budget, but they are higher quality products than the other options that are lower budget.

I have used the H7 on my mothers computer, and installation was pretty straight forward, and it cools adequately. Neither of these coolers are really going to give amazing performance, but will be notably better than stock cooling, and better than the 92mm fan based options listed above.

If you NEED to stay under $30 budget, than the options are slimmer... Including the DeepCool Gammaxx listed above,
Arctic Freezer Xtreme https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835186066

Again, these are all in the same general performance tier, I would rate the Cryorig or Thermalright as the best options... but the DeepCool and the Arctic Freezer would be the only two options that I would consider at or below $30 new.

Hi, bro! Can I know your opinion about Thermaltake nic l31? It seems identical to the Thermalright you're referring to. Would it give me the same performance? And if I got no size limitation what cooler should I pick in the same price category 30~35?

I havent been able to find much data if any on the Nic L31. Visual comparison between it and the thermalright 120M, the thermalright has 4 heatpipes while the Nic only has three. The Nics heatpipes are a little thicker, but I feel that the thermalright will transfer more heat to a wider area of the fins. The Thermalright also looks to have more depth on the fins as well. This leads me to believe that the thermalight will be the better heatsink.

With no size limitation, I would probably go for a Cooler Master Hyper 612 in that price bracket, its about $38, but would outperform the other coolers listed even with its relatively low speed fan (so it will be relatively quiet).

Ummm 612 looks like a beast literally it's kinda ugly but seems to deliver a decent performance. Cheers!
