Hello fellas, long time no see^^

It's time for me to upgrade to a new system and this time around I wanted to make a smaller visually attractive build with enough gaming power for 1080p in the next 3-4 years.
(I might upgrade to 4K monitor later though.)

So far I've decided on:

Case: NZXT Manta [135 €]

CPU: Intel i5-7600K [240 €] (want to do a small OC to 4 ghz at the start and maybe after 2 years pull it up a bit)

GPU: Inno3D iChill GeForce GTX 1060 6GB X3 [300 €]

SSD: Samsung EVO 840 (Allready have one, is raid ssd noticeable?)

PSU: Corsair TX-M Series Modular TX650M [90 €] (Might take a cheaper one, but I really like the modular system.)

Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-Z270N-WIFI [140 €]
Do I really need the Z270 Chipset for what I'm planning to do? Or is for example a B250 sufficient?

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX white DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-3200, CL16-18-18-36 (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16W) [135 €]
It seems RAM is quite pricey atm, but they would fit nicely in my Black and White themed build

.

Cooling: DeepCool Captain 120 EX white [80 €] (thinking about the 240 version)
Never used water-cooling before, but i think in this build it would kind of make sense.

Current price: 1120 €

An alternative would've been the CM V8, but it doesn't fit into the Manta :,(.

some further info:

I'm planning to update the first post here for changes.
I would like to start the build in late may, maybe june.

So if you have any suggestions, feel free to post here

All good. If you don't plan to OC, no sense in going for the more expensive mobo.

Thanks for the answer

. I have thought about it a bit and i think i will stay with the z270 to have the option of OCing.

The main question to me now is if going with a raid ssd (would have to buy the 2nd ssd obv) or getting a PCIe SSD would grant a noticable and worthy performance increase. I guess i will have to do some more research ^^

That's the new thing PCIe SSD because it is faster.
