Edit: I had actually LOVED Destiny a lot on PS4. It got me hooked for some reason. They had the gameplay spot on right but lacked on content heavily. Somehow was addictive. If I had not sold my PS4, I would probably be playing even today.

I just wish it comes out on PC. There was something so much satisfying gameplay wise in Destiny.

Edit 2: First Gameplay will come in May as livestream.

Edit: That being said you can't actually pre order for PC right now. There are no retailers available. Hopefully steam will be one. Sorry. The Standard edition for PC as Boxed is available in several retails. Nothing about Steam Version though... The Xbone And PS4 versions do show up Playstation Store and Xbox Store as available retailers.

It had an amazing solid 30 fps gameplay on PS4.... Now I know people will laugh at this when they read but I 100% mean it.

Sounds like the story is in place this time! The comedy writing in the trailer was pretty great and reminded me a lot of Guardians of the Galaxy, which isn't bad at all.

Most importantly!

Thank you for putting a big bold "Not actual game footage" at the end of it!! It seems like one of those obvious things, but developers today tend to really like the Bullshot for marketing. Upfront honesty goes a long way at this point.

I wasn't interested in the first, but this has me interested.

One of my biggest gripes with the first was the story always felt a bit disjointed. Kept jumping over the place but the gameplay itself was beyond fun.

I actually think I bought it on PS4 first, then was gifted a copy for 360 to play with some friends across the country who didn't have Next gen consoles, eventually they all upgraded and ended up with it on Xbox one as well and each time I loved playing it.

If they have actual end game content and a flowing story then I'll be a mighty happy man!

BTW for those of your wondering, if you have a character from the 1st game only the appereance will transfer. Not the powers, not the guns etc...

AND if I remember correctly you literraly DO NOT have to play the 1st one for 2nd game's story.

That is because months before release the lead writer left, and because of a contractual error by Bungie, he was able to keep the entire story as his personal IP. They literally had to re-write the entire story in like 3 months to make release.

I somehow managed to completely miss that news

Gonna have to go find that and read into it, that's a huge mistake to make though haha

Lance Reddick, was a very bad casting decision for the blue dude, he has such an iconic voice, I can only see his face every time the blue dude speaks, actually bought Destiny for Ps4 but sold it right afterward since I can't play it with a controller, simply don't have the ability to do so, it appears they announce it for PC to so I might actually buy it.

Wait I just read up more on the game and it would seem there is some exclusive DLC nonsense going on, ps4 get/got(has been that way for a while) content an entire year early which is pritty much the worst gaming practice I have ever heard of in my life.

That put a bit of a damper on the hype meter, would probably still buy it but damn how can anyone defend or want that.

Which was very disappointing, because story is one of the things Bungie has done well since the 90s.

Marathon, yo. Respect the avatar <----

Honestly Destiny is a great game. Not the story but cant forget the raids and missions. there was something quite entertaining in the repetitiveness.
