If I could afford a hole new build like a x99 mb and 1080ti then I would do a scratch build since I have some ideas but not funds haha

Not good enough, reporting you.. JK. But seriously, I think you should upgrade your components before with like a 7700k and a 1070 it would be much more fun to test and see the limits (really talking about that beast of an overclocker that is Kaby Lake). Still looking great though applaud.gif

Actually that 4790K is a great overclocker. The performance gain would be better spent on a new GPU. The X99 would be an even bigger waste of money for gaming. smile.gif I had the X99 in my rig last year, and since I don't encode or anything, the only benefit was slower boot speed. thumb.gif

With Nvidia upping the ante with the new Titan Xp you may see more straight 1080's going up for sale. I might sell a dual 1080 FE with Heatkiller Blocks in the next month myself for a steal!!! smile.gif

I really would like to get a 1080ti but that's a lot of $$ for me at the moment to go spend. I wish I could "win a sponsor build". Like a z270 MB with a 1080 and I could get that 7700k to go with it smile.gif

You probably might laugh at me . But I'm using a 50" Sony tv "240 hz refresh rate" but more like 120hz or 60hz1080p.
