Enthoo primo pro variant

So this is what I want, the enthoo primo only with a front screen mesh like the pro with enough space for 3 front fans. And 2 bay drives, for fan controller an optical drive.
No metal front plate, no tons of useless drive bays. "And plenty of space to mount a tube reservoir"
just got the enthoo luxe an finding a place to mount a 8 inch tube reservoir with a 1080ti is a pain. thinking of sending it back.
Yep sending it back and get primo can mod it better.😁

So are they useless?
I'd like to see a nice fulltower with mesh panel without any 5.25 drives at all. That would be sick (and compact).

So we compromise on modular 5.25" bays then. The Primo really does need an update to bring it in line with the rest of Phanteks cases. RGB, tempered glass, designed with modern high end rads and full length gpus in mind.

I personally don't need a 5.25" in case. I'd rather have mesh front panel, and solid top panel with side-intake on top (kinda like evolv). That means you can put some stuff on top without covering top intake. (plants, books, etc..).
Personally i hate unused 5.25" slots, and extra devices usually look out of place.

Hence the modular. Something that can be removed if you're not using them. Similar to the Caselabs flexbay system.

Yeah, but I still don't like the look of multiple inserts. I'd rather pay for full mesh panel without flexbay option: Buttons/headphones/usb and fan/rad mount on the back.

Couple of ideas for this :

-Tempered Glass side panel(s)

-2 SSD trays on the side above the "Phanteks" logo

-Integrated RGB LEDs on the case (with UV too!)

-Updated I/O ports (USB 3.1 Gen1 and Gen2, front HDMI port, RGB LED controllable scroll wheel, USB ports for each system (mini-ITX + ATX). etc.)

-etc. just something useful for the end-user.

Basically, a cheaper version of the Phanteks Enthoo Elite. And when is the Primo DS coming by the way?

Not useless, but more than 2 is highly unessecary in my opinion. I'll always have a optical drive or for the foreseeable future.
And More better positioned ssd slots/holders. I'd like them all lined up down a solid one piece plate like the front side is, with a cutout slot on bottom for one hdd. No need for cooling ssd an no need for cages holding 8-10 hdd either. An a nice clear unobstructed front mesh panel with 3 intake fans yum! I'd mod the top to set plants or whatever on an still let hot air out I've already got ideas for it.
