I think that 1800X can actually be on par or with a slight difference (+-5%) to 7700k but in some time... They need time to fix the issues they have right now with optimisation. But right now after it's release when it's so new there's no chance it could actually beat a 5960x or 6900k. JayzTwoCents made a video where he compared his 1800X to 5960x and 5960x beat it in rendering by 2.5 minutes... So even comparing it to 6 or 8 core intel ryzen doesn't stand a chance. That is to change in 3-6 months time.

And if you haven't noticed the issue with Ryzen was GPU not being fully utilised by the game.

This is a great investigation and comprehensive bench of TR by ATV. I need to see how both CPUs do in three scenes of this game using a Fury X. I bet the gap between the two would be smaller.

fury x is slower than a 1070 so yes your right, would be stupid though would completely remove any chance of a CPU bottleneck.

Pretty crazy to think that not a single person had noticed this since launch, I mean the differences are glaring. This guy does good work

I'm unsure about how he concluded that the driver was at fault though
