So since I don't plan on delidding anything for a while and feel sorry for all those overheating Kaby's with hampered performance due to Intel's pigeon poop paste I want to give people the opportunity to pop the top off their CPU's with no casualties. So this is how it works. I will ship the tool out to the first person on the list and afterwards each person will be responsible for sending it to the next person. The last person on the list will be responsible for sending it back to me. I'll also be including the RTV silcone in case you choose to relid. Be advised that this tool can also be used to delid Ivy, Haswell, Devil's Canyon, and Skylake. Please be advised that I am only including the relidder tool for the 1150/1151 sockets. 1155's utilize a different tool for relidding.

I will leave this open to 20 members. Once the queue is filled I'll ship it out to the first person on the list.
Members should use the tool and have it shipped to the next person by two to three days of receiving it. Please send me a PM once you ship it to the next person so that I can track progress. Also, as I am doing this as a favor to the community, I expect to receive the tool back in the same condition it initially went out in (perfect condition and no missing parts!). If there's anything missing when you receive it please let me know ASAP.
Rockit's Queue List
I haven't jumped on the Kaby bandwagon yet so I'm not looking to get on the list, but I just wanted to applaud this idea. I'm forever humbled by the members of this community and the spirit of assistance and contribution.
If there's room, id love to be added to the list. Was just thinking of popping my 3770k open! Any specific thermal paste recommended to put under the lid?
Edit: Should have just had you bundle it in with our recent sale.

I can make an exception for you but you would probably be placed at the end of the list and would have to pay shipping your way from the person which needs to send it to you as well as shipping it back to me.
Update:
Looks like I'll ship it to the first person on the list next week Monday. Wanted to start today but my brother has decided to pop the top off of his chip this weekend.

Put me on the list. I get reasonable Temps on my i7 4790 locked CPU, but I'd like to see if I can get it down more and just because I can. I've got a replacement case for my sig rig so if I fail I fail.

Thankfully I get paid weekly so I will delid on a Monday or Tuesday and ship out by Friday the same week. Then if I don't yet have CLU, no worries I can sit on my delidded chip and submit the results for inclusion. May delid my client's 4790k if his Temps are higher than I like. He lives in a trailer with poor air circulation.
Thank you so much for the ability to use the tool, makes it so nice to decide whether I will purchase for future use on other Intel chips for myself and future clientelle.
The only issue I ran in to..and I may have been doing it wrong, but I could not get the lid itself to mount back on with using the white brackets for lining it up. The bracket would just not let the lid go down, even when twisting the center screw. I watched some videos on it, and people were doing exactly what I was doing, without an issue. I just had to eyeball it, at that point :/
