Great video and very helpful. Thanks for taking the time and sharing @KedarWolf

That's a shame about not being able to use LIM for power mod in vertical stance. I'm in the same boat. Have to do more research, because I was planning on doing that and just realized I'll have card vertically :///

BTW,is the power mod even worth it for 8+6 pin cards?

I don't seem to have the "Optimise for compute" setting, am I missing something?

No, I don't think you are. I'm pretty sure I only have that option having a second video card in, my old Maxwell Titan X enables that option.

Power mod really helps. But myself and at least one other person I've talked to say the Strix bios is like a poor man's power mod. I NEVER hit the power limit this BIOS. smile.gif

Hmm, ok. I'll try your tutorial without that. I already have mine running stable at 2100/6000 but it would be nice to lower voltages if possible.

Ok so someone on the 1080TI official thread told me to start at 1.000v for curve, but you say 1.032v. Which is it? lol

I've found to stop power limiting 2025 at .993v works in Superposition 4K Optimized. ph34r-smiley.gif

Doesn't this depend on the individual card?

My card can hold 2037 at .093v manual oc. Sometimes drops to 2025. But when I tried the curve it goes all over the place in 8K Supo and FS Ultra.

Might try 2025 at .093v and see if it actually holds.

The trick is to get the highest overclock at the lowest voltage you can, like say 2012 at .950v, then it shouldn't jump around in TimeSpy and Superposition etc.

And if you are going to be using it as a gaming rig find out your max clocks you can sustain at the lowest voltages you can in the games you play. You're not going to be running benches 24/7, and can just save your bench profile in Afterburner for when you do. smile.gif
