A full system lockup can also be caused by a failing harddrive. You should download HdTune and let it to a full error scan. If it 'shows any 'red' blocks, replace the drive.

on this screen your using more memory than the gpu has to use, I would suggest to up the amount of ram that the igp uses. it might help with the issue, or might not.
its in the igp setting in bios somewhere, change it to 2gbs if you can that is.

as reference, gta would crash on mine if I set it above the video card memory limit.

it could also be that you just dont have enough ram, which happened when i got bf1, even with off board gpu ram and 8gb, it would run out of ram while playing and crash to desktop.

make sure your web browser and other apps are not running while playing too.
no idea how an apu would react to the same situation.

So system is still freezing and every now and then I get a bsod with thread_stuck_in_device_driver. I cant return any of it because I got the mobo froma friend and the apu is from ebay and i've waited to long to return it if i wanted to.

Thread_Stuck_in _device_driver is GPU overclocking issue.

Either lower a bit the clocks, or you need to figure out the voltage.

Microsoft Security Essentials! When I first built my computer I had lockups, and bluescreens, I RMA'd my motherboard, powersupply and a hard drive, still same issues I realized the only common denominator was MSE, I reinstalled windows this time installing AVG, I have not had a lockup or a bluescreen since. Start with that then keep narrowing down.
