PC Rebooting Occassionally Ater Installing RX-480 - Page 3

If you want a stable card you need to mod both bios or else you'll be going around in circles thinking it's one thing or other.

To verify if it's a power supply issue... Simply note what the 12 Volt, 3.3 Volt, and 5 Volt rail readings are in the BIOS and Windows HWInfo v546... Note deviations from BIOS to HWInfo v546... Then throw it under load and again Note 12 Volt rail, 3.3 Volt rail, and 5 Volt rail readings.

Send those results and I'll tell you if the power supply has a single thing to do with this issue your having. Post a complete large page of the whole HWInfo v546 and I can tell you what's going on with your system.

Well as I said a couple posts up I pulled the 480 and still had system restarts.  It's late I'll figure a plan of action in the morning.

Right. Since you had only modded the 480 Bios, still there is not only software to deal with but also a 470 with stock BIOS.
