Hello,
Just Exchanged a Asus CH6 for this MSI Tomahawk, and so far im pleased with the stability of this way more cheap product...

Lets have a cumulative topic just for this product! It deserves! To me one of the best B350 Boards!

I'm currently using a GIGABTYE AX370 K7 for now. I will be using my b350 tomahawk again with my Ryzen 5 1600x, because it is an amazing board.

I found a german website with different beta and official bios.

https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f12/msi-b350-tomahawk-am4-1159096.html

I've used the 1.41 beta with great success @2966 on the memory, couldn't get passed 2400 with 1.3

Hello,

Been testing the Beta 1.41 Bios for a while, so far so good...
Some improvements on the Memory Front...

Got my Corsair LPX 3200mhz to boot at 2933mhz...

All features on the seem to be working fine, also the CPU OC is pretty good on this Board, even with "inferior" VRM 4+2 delivery...

So far 3.9ghz on 1.32v on my Ryzen 1700x...

Best Regards,

LPC

AMD RYZEN 5 1600 PLUS Upgrade Kit - MSI X370 SLI PLUS USB 3.1 AM4 RYZEN Motherboard + AMD RYZEN 5 1600 19MB CACHE 3.6GHz CPU + Crucial 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM Red @ $530

AMD RYZEN 5 1600 Gaming Upgrade Kit - MSI B350 TOMAHAWK USB 3.1 AM4 RYZEN Motherboard + AMD RYZEN 5 1600 19MB CACHE 3.6GHz CPU + Crucial 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM Red @ $507

I want to be able to overclock and the cooler I am using Coolermaster Hyper 212 LED Turbo dual fan. Which would be the best bang for the buck considering my requirements.

Hello and Welcome to this thread!
From what i see, maybe the best bang for the buck is the 3rd bundle with the MSI B350 PC Mate.
This is the same board as the Tomahawk, but with a diferent design.

The power delivery is more than enough for your Ryzen 5 or even the Ryzen 7 (like mine).
They are cheap and so far, pretty much stable...

The X370 is only important if you want a little better distribution fase design for the CPU and CF/SLI.
