Long time, no build.

Last time I was doing something on NZXT S340, so basically not moving too far. But I happened to get an opportunity to start a mod in this case thanks to NZXT.

As the title says, the project is called Sinestro. For those who don't know who he is, here is his best photo. Don't know if he woke up on the wrong foot or something:

Green Lantern was a bit mainstream and wanted to switch from all the superhero mods to villians (don't get me wrong, I wasn't here for a long time).

Unfortunatelly I can't list the whole list of the specs since I am still in process of sorting things out which ones to choose and which way to go. How components arrive and when I make up my mind, I will update this post so at the end the list can be completed. On the other hand, that doesn't mean I can't start some bits and pieces with the case. So far the specs of the build are:

The Elite case looks really cool. It is something different when you see it in real. Just with whole custom loop it will be a squeeze.

Yap, 900D is pretty big case. Had 800D to work with and that was big, I can only imagine how 900D is.

Vacation starting next week so I can finally hit some stores and continue to work on Project Sinestro.

A little heads up for the future plans. Painting some stuff and getting some parts in plexiglass. Back sidepanel will also get into works later, just need to find the things I need to start the work for it. But not going to say everything.

More soon...

So this is how my yesterdays garage day went. Drilled some holes for the pump and for the NZXT cable management vertical plate. Made the hole for the fill port, painted my radiator from white to black (because I used it for Glacier Blaze mod) and well as painted some fittings from blue to black (same thing, from Glacier Blaze mod). done some cutting on the screws that were holding the case because I couldn't place the 120 radiator. I have to repaint the cable management vertical plate to black also. Not too much work, but painting has taken up a lot of time.

With other work up to my neck, I couldn't post updates. Didn't have the time. But to fix that, here are some photos that I took in the process.

These pipes are just a mock up to see how it will all fit and will redo them... And I didn't have more pipes so had to order more of them haha

Cool guys at CableMod saw that my "cable waterfalls" look like a disaster so they sent me their cable combs to make it look nicer.

And finally, the sticker. Since I don't know how to airbrush or anyone else who might know, I decided to do it in photoshop and change some things from the original photos. Two Sinestro ones are going on the GPUs, the big one is going on the back side panel of the case and some small bits and pieces that will be placed somewhere.

The final photos will be posted on Sunday when the mod will be finished.
