1080 ti waterblock: same as 1080?

Thread Starter
Hey I have been trying to research if a 1080 full coverage waterblock is the same size as the 1080 ti.

I tried doing the configurator on EKWB website, and it said to use their "Titan x pascal" water block, full coverage.

I don't really see anything online marked as a "1080 ti" water block. Wondering if the old blocks fit, or they haven't made the new ones yet.

Does anyone have more info on this? Any confirmation that the old blocks fit the new card? Thanks

If it's anything like the 980ti (which I have and used Maxwell Titan X blocks) the 1080ti will most likely use the Pascal Titan X block as well.

Titan X Pascal and 1080Ti (Founders Edition PCB) share the same PCB, so Titan X block will fit fine on the 1080Ti. Plenty of people in the owners thread have gone that route.

The 1080 FE Block will not as it has few components in different locations such as the PCIe power input being an obvious point and other minor differences.

I can confirm that any Titan XP block will fit on the 1080Ti as I have one. The 1080 block however will not fit which sucks since I upgraded from a 1080 to a Ti and had to get a new block.
