may be a false alarm - I checked event viewer and saw a eventID 41 kernel-power which indicates my system basically lost power unexpectedly. I suspected a power outage but nothing else in my room went out - its possible though its happened before. I played again and it didnt crash - I also checked temps and they were normal - played other games they were fine too.... sooo maybe a false alarm ill see if it happens again

This exactly.

For those with an old MLT04 mouse (wmo/ime etc), the sweetlow driver seems to have stopped working in the creator's update and I can't get it working again. Very sad, now I am stuck with a wmo1.1 running at a miserable 125hz instead of the 1000 it used to run at on windows 10 anniversary... Until I can be bothered to roll back which I cannot tonight.

Fking microsoft man.

Fresh creators install from the mediacreation tool.
No problems what so ever, latests nvidia drivers no problem in any game, including OW which I play the most.

The only problem I had to redo all my tweaks which takes freaking hours, but I refuse to install an update of this portion without doing a clean install, because it will be a mix of crap biggrin.gif

No issues after my main pc* updated with it no mousing issues for me, same as before. Just make sure you have the xbox dvr feature turned off.

*previously installed it on my laptop

I got the floaty mouse cursor issue after the creators update.

Fixed it by doing these things (I had these two things disabled but got re-enabled after Creators Update):

1) Disabled Xbox DVR
2) In "Choose How Updates are Delivered" make sure it is set to off. It was enabled after my creators update and it was uploading/sending Windows update files to other PCs to the internet and local network = eating resources and bandwidth

Double check your Power Options in "Advanced Settings" - the default settings does not make sense for a desktop or gaming PC. Understandable if it was for a laptop or tablet.

1) Hard Disk - "Turn off Hard Disk after" defaults at 20 minutes. I set it to 0 minutes so it does not occur if your PC idles for the set time. When the hard drive is asleep and you move your mouse cursor to wake it or access data in the hard drive you cursor may lag or feel floaty for a few seconds.

2) Sleep - "Sleep After" set to Never and "Allow Hybrid Sleep" is set to Off
3) USB Settings - "USB Selective Suspend Setting" is set to Disabled.
4) Processor Power Management - All of it is set at 100%.

Updated today. Applied usual old privacy settings. Game DVR background recording works as usual.

The key is to not have the gamebar pop up or you'll get swamp'd. Something with the "overlay" really cruds up the mouse movement in my experience. But with the bar not visible and simple backgorund recording I get stable FPS and clip saving if I need it.

Other than that it was having a hellish time the first few boots but all seems to be well now.

"mouse works fine" no, this update does make the mouse floaty. There is an sneaky setting which needs to be checked on the game's exe(proterties>compability>disable fullscreen optimizations). This setting makes the game run in fullscreen borderless, not exclusive, just so the ****ty game bar can overlay the game.
