Agreed. I wouldn't game on a crappy PC though, so it's a bit irrelevant.

Then you'll likely be spending a good bit more money than you would on a console. Which is kinda the point of consoles. Of course a good PC gaming rig is far more powerful than any console these days but its also like 3 times the cost.

All these people claiming Pro is only marginally faster than PS4 rolleyes.gif Have you even tried them both on a UHD/HDR TV? In games that had Pro support on release, like Horizon Zero Dawn? I doubt it.
I can tell you the difference is very clear. After all the Pro is more than twice as fast.

The Scorpio and Pro are primarily targeted against UHD TV owners. The whole point is higher resoluton/fps. Even tho PS4 Pro games are rarely native UHD, it does not matter in reality.
Because 1440p-1800p is a huge upgrade over 720p-1080p, especially on a big TV.

Not only does PS4 have far more exclusives than Xbox One, the quality of the PS exclusives are also much better and that's a fact.
http://gematsu.com/exclusives/ps4
http://gematsu.com/exclusives/xbox-one

Best rated games for Xbox One are pretty much all multi plat titles. PS4 have loads of exclusives in top 50 in metacritic, gamespot and other gaming sites. And the exclusives keeps coming. We're not talking about small indie exclusives here. This is what Xbox mostly get.

But seriously, why defend a console? I paid peanuts for my PS4 Pro. I couldn't care less if Scorpio is faster. I got it for exclusives and gameplay quality, and so far it's been worth every cent.

I mean, my new M.2 SSD was more expensive than the PS4 Pro and all games I've bought so far. I would buy Scorpio in an instant if I had a reason to. But with no exclusives, why should I? I can play them on my PC (and I can easily hook up my PC to my TV and use a controller). Sea of Thieves is probably the only interesting title on Xbox for me, will play it on PC when it releases.

Not everyone cares for exclusives. I don't. I play multiplat games except for gears of war and halo.

Ok, but most do.

Exclusives is the reason PS4 dominates the market. Sony knows which developers to hire and they release exclusives very often.

Most AAA multi plat games sell much better on PS4 too, because the exclusives lured them in, in the first place.
It was NOT because PS4 was slightly faster than Xbox One, 99.9% don't care. Same thing is going to happen with PS4 Pro vs Scorpio.

As long as Microsoft don't focus on exclusives, they will never be succesful in this market. So far most of the Xbox One marketshare comes from agressive pricing. If Xbox One was same price as PS4, Xbox would probably have less than 20% marketshare. If Scorpio will be expensive, it will fail miserably. It needs to be priced around PS4 Pro, or people will simply get the Pro instead -> Cheaper, better exclusives, pretty much the same thing when it comes to graphics.

I don't play many games on console that comes for PC. I'll take the cheaper price, better graphics and fps any time, when possible.

I bought the Switch for Zelda and Mario Kart so far. Peanuts again. And solely because of exlcusives.

Exclusives are what makes consoles shine. Gameplay and graphic-wise. Horizon Zero Dawn on PS4 Pro looks amazing, even compared to PC standard. This is why I don't play multi plat titles on console.

Because Sony selling more than MS doesn't mean MS fail our isn't successful. It means Sony is doing better.

27 million vs 53 million. 25 million is far from fail.

This sums up the playstation pretty well. Even with my PC, a game like Doom for example- I just can not stand it on the PS4 but I love it on my PC. Yeah such fast paces shooter is kinda not very good example I just want to point out that there is a place for consoles. And for people with tight bugets consoles are very good thing or somebody that is not tech savy but just want to play some games. PS4, from 2013 till now, plays whatever Sony decides to bring without any worires. Consoles would stay for a very long time.

We might want to see the price of Scorpio before we make predictions like that. Regardless though, I'm coming at this from the perspective of somebody that already has a PC. I can spend the entire cost of Scorpio on a GPU and completely destroy it. My whole argument has been that this system is useless for a PC gamer, and I stand by it.

This so much. I bought my PS4 Pro and now I am playing all best exclusives (and remakes of PS3 exclusives) PS has to offer. 100% worth of its price. I can't play those games on my PC so this is great investement.

Scorpio I couldn't care less if they don't have good exclusives. Multiplatform titles I always play on PC, for obvious reasons.

So what Scorpio has to offer for me? Exclusives like PS4? No. Performance like my PC? No.

So what is left? 4K BluRay? I have HTPC for it.

I think Scorpio has amazing (for a console) potential but MS MUST invest in memorable and top-quality exclusives like PlayStation/Sony has.

You know people that have a PC faster than PS4 Pro are way less in number than you might think. You can't take a OCN member as reference for Xbox Scorpio buyer.
As far as PS4 exclusives go it will always win because of Jap development. I personally only buy based on the games I am going to play and like my previous PSP, PS Vita, PS3 I only play exclusives targeted to western market and ignore all the anime games what PS is filled with.
