People's cards are boosting to 1911Mhz out of box & can be ran at around ~2030-2050Mhz with OC & fan curve adjustment. Considering 1080Ti/"Old" TXP need ~100Mhz more to match TX little p's performance, good luck.

Also wasn't it you who was saying a few days back how Nvidia's stock cooler in pretty good. It was in another thread, but pretty sure it was you.

Why is this 1080 Ti's graphics score beating out the Xp in Timespy? What am I missing?

People like the post above you is why this exists. Unless that was just sarcasm. I have trouble with these things sometimes.

I still didn't see any gaming beches of TITAN Xp. Nor OC results from users, anything apart from 3 benches of FS, Heaven etc. And pure benches does not behave like games.

There are not detailed tests of gaming performance vs 1080Ti AIBs. I want to see if it will really be 10% or not.

Still speculations at this point. We need data to see where Xp sits right now and how much advantage does it have in games.

Well then we'll have to wait for reviews sites, because they can do standardized gaming testing that can be trusted. User benches aren't much reliable. And most inbuilt game benchmarks are as the same as synthetic benches.

World's #1 3D Overclocker Vincent Lucido (KINGPIN) benching with heavily modified card on Ln2. Look at them clocks. drool.gif

He could do the same with a TXp (probably won't) & outdo that result. wink.gif

soo... With this out would I be better off saving for this or spend a couple hundred on another 290x? I dont play with my 3 monitors since the GPU cant handle it, so mostly 1920x1200 gaming.

Thanks for the link. Wonder if he has a job other than benching all day. Amazing results.

He does a lot of R&D/Testing on EVGA's Classified & (mainly) Kingpin series of cards. He's their inhouse overclocker afterall.

It's hilarious how much discussion/drama is being made on this forum from users who have absolutely zero interest in paying $1200 to have the best gpu on the planet. That alone makes it worth the purchase for me. Haters gonna hate has never been more profound. Great thing is that we get to do it all over again next year when Titan Xv drops. thumb.gif
