Opinions on Samsung- UE590 Series 28" LED 4k UHD from best buy and any comparable monitors?

Hi there folks!
Got a question about the Samsung UE590 28" monitor found here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-ue590-series-28-led-4k-uhd-monitor-black/5484022.p?skuId=5484022

I am possibly looking at working a trade for it, but we'll see. So I wouldn't be paying retail...
But is it worth it? How much would you pay for it, lightly used?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Well folks, I got one off of craigslist. So far so good!

Stuff feels really big! I spoiled myself for a little while with a 27" 1920x1080 monitor so I'm getting used to things smile.gif. Some would say that's too much resolution for too little monitor. I am on the border when it comes to that sentiment. Would it be nice if it was 30" or 32"? Probably, but 28" isn't a terrible thing. What is different to me, along with the pixel count itself, is the aspect ratio. Not strangely different, just noticeable to my eye. I have more or less gotten used to it though, and don't think about it now after day one.

What aspect ratio? Isn't it just standard 16:9?

i had picked one of these up along with a LG 4k 27" on black friday... the colors were not as good in comparison and the VESA mount is super high, resulting in zero difference in height when using stand vs my mount. i returned it soon after. i went from a 24" to 27" so size wise, it wasnt much of a difference but resolution was quadupled. 1920x1200 to 3840x2160 ! resolution wise its amazing. do wish it was a tiny bigger. maybe at 30" or so

It is on paper smile.gif, but it feels different to me. Not sure if I can explain it well. It's like things had a slightly taller feel, but again, that could be because of the previous monitor I had (Samsung Syncmaster S27B350H).
