I'm not even looking at the scores tho 500 pts in extreme is a lot... in the after shot the power limit kicked in on briefly - the first scene , it is the highest power draw of anything I've ever run (maybe the final scene in catZ is as amp hungry). So it worked?
Goobered on a "mound" of CLU?
I'm not seeing anything like that with a thick "painted" coating. (and I cleaned and reapplied 3 times.

CPU went from 4.9 to 5.1 of the "before run". So I think that contributed to 500 point jump.
Yeah it downclocked briefly in the first scene (I think it was the temps). Will be testing more in the weekend.
It seems to have worked to some degree
. Considering the amount of Conductonaut I put on there, the TDP reduction should've been more. IMO. Dunno what's going on, but I'm now tempted to try the Conductive pen to the bottom of the shunts.
Thanks for the cable. +1.

The best solution is to solder a VR on there. But than you can kiss your warranty goodbye. I don't see many people willing to do that. Edited by rt123 - 4/21/17 at 6:53am
