My only experience with water cooling is a Corsair 110 on the machine I am using right now. I took the big leap on this one I am working on now.

The Titan Xp is similar to 1080Ti with one extra memory module. EK block for previous Titan XP could be used on 1080Ti FE, and will be usable on new Titan Xp with 3840 CUDA cores.

To use the EK block, u dont need a backplate, u can leave the back of the card nude. But if u want to use a backplate, u have 2 options:

1. Keep the original one that comes with the card, which can be mounted along with EK block using nvidia screws (the ones that come with the card)

2. Purchase the EK backplate, using EK screws coming with it.

Mine is on its way, hope it arrives next week!!!

Nvidia Store for Spain should offer a fast delivery option. UPS Standard 3 days is crap... mad.gif

Wouldn't mind to pay a bit more for it.

This is Europe 2017!!!

Try to downvolt it and see where's the limit. Downvolting will keep it cooler, will enable you to have more stable clocks, deal with a lot less noise and who knows you might even get a few extra Mhz out of it too. Stock voltage is already kinda overkill for these cards.

Ti's reassembled and blocks just butterball naked waiting to get dressed by these titans! Ha. figures I put everything back and I'm missing 1 stock backplate tiny screw. Just had to lose one. ETA 30 hours. FYI I'll be benching cards right off the rip under water. So I won't have any stock numbers. Not that stock matters Here. All benches 4K and 3440x1440. Have a Samsung ue590 that before I return I wanna get some figures.

Congrats.

For your interest, pics of my previous 1080 FE with EK block and Nvidia backplate:

Now I have the TXP with EK block and backplate

Talking about TXP and TXP+ u can also mount the original backplate (nvidia screws) or EK one (EK screws).

I don't think I'm going to use a backplate. The card showing through is pretty neat. It sure is easy to spend large chunks of cash on this stuff.

I'll have to give this a try. From what I can tell, somehow Doom is the most varying game when it comes to clocks. Just beat it yesterday, however, so it's uninstalled tongue.gif.

First try for 1900 at 0.960mv and then move forward. Having more stable clocks will give you better performance overall with higher low% frametimes. Unfortunately, the stock cooler for these cards is inadequate, shame really because Nvidia could at least try and improve it significantly for the Titan series.

Yes it's with the hybrid cooler. Highest temp I've seen was 55c. And I used a helping amount of MX-4. Wonder how much it'd drop with Kryonaut. rolleyes.gif

don't hold your breath guys.. kryonaut the thermal paste not the CLU is overhyped and you will not see any difference between it and what EK supply..

many have said the same.. its overhyped and only useful when on LN2... actually my temps was higher with kyronaut but cores more in sync.. on gpu.. saw no difference at all

my favorite tims atm are cooler master mastergel nano & gelid extreme
