How far past is it from 1080Ti? 20%? Just trying to decide between the two.

Does it have DVI? Or would I have to get an adapter for my #2 monitor?

many have said the same.. its overhyped and only useful when on LN2... actually my temps was higher with kyronaut but cores more in sync.. on gpu.. saw no difference at all

my favorite tims atm are cooler master mastergel nano & gelid extreme

you are a smart guy and credible in my book. I dont know how it compares to ek paste; HOWEVER, vs EVGA stock hybrid cooler paste, vs NVIDIA 1080ti stock paste (almost a direct comparison to these titans), and vs Aorus (gigabyte) stock paste, i got very nice results. IN Fact, i AM ON MY Aorus 1080ti , last night, and have been holding 62c all day in a 75f ambient. Stock it was 67-69c in that situation even with the adjusted fan curve. So, last night I opened the door and played 2 hours with it STUCK AT 58c, so I wasnt ever even losing the turbo bin for 59c. 2 hours, man. 58c on air. That is better than any of the reviewers claim for this card, and Im OC to 2050 core throughout that session (occasional 2037). Im sure part of the gains are just doing a by hand application properly, but still. Tell me that aint dope!! Oh, and my 5775c never crossed 62c and it's at 4.3 (you know what that takes), so the kyro is doing it's job there, too.

improvements. Kind of a no-brainer tbh.

lol I know not one to do this either. But hey might as well be satisfied. Which probably won't ever happen. I'm a little bummed out just noticed my invoice and the two xp's that I ordered if you look at the serial numbers they are over 2000 skus different. One ends in 4069 the other 6192. Why is it so hard for the nvidia store to process something like that. If I'm buying two I'd expect them to be in series. I had bought 2 1080 classifieds and they were in series overclocked identical. 2166 on air. Didn't even have a loop at the time. Fan was 65% if these two don't overclock the same I hate to say it but I might send back and request two in series. Might sound petty but 2400 is 2400. I'd rather have two that overclock the same whether good or bad then worry about adjusting each one individually

yeah, good point, they are probably all scattered but i'd want them in series, too, because then they'd come from the same die and same area of the die i think.

No way I'm shunt modding any video card ever. Too risky. redface.gif

My thoughts exactly. Im no expert but I'd bet they have better chances oc ing the same. Needless to say now I'll be installing cards without blocks first one at a time. 100 fan and see how they do. Just didn't wanna have to do that. Lol so much time. Fill loop back up for CPU. Test cards. Drain loop. Blocks on fill loop. Hahha crap. My gf thinks I'm going crazy. I very well might be.

I understand but I don't think adding more voltage is going to help your oc because you're hitting power limits in your GPU-Z nearly 50% of the time. If you add more voltage that perf cap might become solid green.

You might be giving a core at a certain voltage no power to play with and get worse performance.

I think you actually might get better results at a lower voltage and most stable core you can obtain and have that perf cap not show any colors.

well, if she's "the one" she needs to know the truth. She does now lol. I told you in the other thread that I spent the $50 extra i got back from Nvidia on my swap on filets, right? Works like a charm (or whatever her fave is. sushi, whatever). Go show her you don't love that beach more than her LMAO. Girls really do think like that.
