Stock clock is like 1580? Another 200Mhz of boost clock and rest is 150Mhz OC? Thats not to bad on air. Pascal doesn't have the headroom Maxwell did.
im coming from 2050Mhz Ti this cant even keep 2050 unless i set voltage to 1.030v and its not stable isn't worth extra $500 for extra 10fps avr i got thinking these were going to be binned everyone here except me hitting 2100 and hybrid only going to be giving me extra 10-20Mhz since i got GPU at 65c with fan at 100%

Just glad i did free shipping so ill get everything back

Binned lol. Your expecting too much from NV for 1200. I think you bought this thing with the wrong mindset. If anything all reasoning with aibs etc etc most people expected the 1080ti to clock higher than the first tx pascal and that didn't seem to be the case. Lets just say your at 2100 vs 2040. If you bought this thing for fps in games that's what 1 fps? What do you see in this thread the most? Synthetics. If you had bought this card just to game with then that little clock speed doesn't matter much and the extra fps is up to you if it was worth 500. Imo, you were maybe better of with 2 1080tis if value was important. However, gaming is a back seat for lots of the buyers in this thread. Lot's of people here went from the old txp to the new txp, in which case I am sure there's no real gaming related need that was causing the itch to spend more for fps.

Haha I saw that think I was just happy to unlock something. I didn't even use it. Ordered some conductonaut gonna take the leap and shunt main card. I read on another thread that once the shunt is done do not raise power target more than 110%. This sound about right? What should I expect with a shunt mod? Still a newb I'm assuming tdp would drop. So for instance I'm at 2100 during gaming tdp maxes out 122. Can I expect that to drop to the 90's?

Do you know if you Can maintain 60fps during battle in Witcher 3 at ultra setting 4K, no hairwork, no AA. with the titan Xp fully overclocked? Thanks for answer
I Was not able to do it with Titan X Pascal fully overclocked . Fps drop to 55-57. I even tried with grass distance view to high instead of very high, you can save a few fps. Rise Tomb Raider at 4K ultra with VXAO (instead of HBAO+) i got 40-44fps in worst case.

the Xp should be able to give you that extra 5fps you need in Witcher to keep 60fps

also please look at your CPU/MEM that should also give you extra fps if your not on bleeding edge

Go sli lol. You won't drop under 60 for either of those @ 4k. thumb.gif

Not much, but with that small bump in voltage the cards boosted about 20ish MHz higher on average. Initially anyway since I stick to using stock cooling.
can you post some gpuz pics with 0% and 100% please? Showing the voltage difference? (driver version?) Every time I try this enabling it actually lowers my load voltage from 1.05V to 1.025V. I've wiped drivers reinstalled repeatedly and same for AB4.4.0b6 to no avail.

not everyone except you. And on air my card topped out around where yours does. Keeping it cold really helps.

Just wondering, but I suppose nobody runs these using the coolers they come with? I'm building a new computer and haven't really installed anything since last time I did. So due to lack of experience I'm slightly uncomfortable doing any of that on a new GPU. Perhaps I should not even be looking into these then, but I would like to explore my options atleast.

Now for the mandatory shipping update, lol.

Digital River shipped this out pretty fast.
It won't be in my grubby paws until next week, but that's ok.
More time to get my loop finished, etc.

Glad to see the EK TX Pascal block is compatible, I figured it would be, but a thank-you to Jpmboy for providing the updates from EK on that.
I bought that EK block a couple weeks ago, it was going to go on my 1080Ti FE, but then something else came along............

The stock cooler is trash but if you live with the noise it's fine. Most of the folks in here are trying to get the highest clocks possible for the highest bench scores, hence why all the non standard cooling.
