my blocks and backplates are coming tomorrow I'll probably have it installed by the weekend if my wife doesn't kill me first for draining the loop and assembling the blocks on the gpus. I'll post how much juice I get out of them but I imagine not as much as the other guys that actually know what they are doing on here smile.gif

I don't have that issue as I only have a single X34 but that used to be a bug present in quite a few drivers (and fixed again, and broken again) with multiple monitors where one or both were 144hz...the GPU just wouldn't downclock on idle in order to keep displaying @ 144hz, even on the desktop...this resulted in high idle temps, obviously. Might not be your issue, but that was definitely one that was present before and well documented in the past.

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to mention that the workaround for the above issue used to be setting the refresh rate in Nvidia Control Panel to 120hz on the desktop to get the card to idle.

No I don't actually - if that was the case liquid ultra shunt wouldn't work either and it does. As you draw the line on top of the resistor which touches the connection point (solder) on each side, you're not "stacking" - you're shorting the circuit effectively.

So a .005 and a .2 (Silver/Acrylic) comes out to 0.004878 - the calculator figures and absurd number of decimal places.. still lower than the shunt itself.

.005 and .0001 = 0.000098, Much lower than the shunt

.005 and the nickel .007 = about 1/2 the shunt value, 0.002916

^^ this - it's not stacking (adding up)

Has anyone personally seen any improvements going with Fujipoly pads?

Why you can't apply conductonaut to GPU? I have previously applied liquid pro / ultra to GPUs before - just need to be careful not to spill it around and / or tape / silicon coat the tiny resistors.

That's what I plan to do anyway when my hybrid arrives together with my conductonaut.

I'll have the card in vertical stance. Not sure it'd be safe, although I read that as long as you have some pressure on it by heat sink it shouldn't leak.

it hasn't it just crashes in firestrike haven't seen an artifact kinda crazy got me two goldies. biggrin.gif I can run superposition at a max of 2138 but it wont stay it bounces from 2066-2138. just played squad for a while stays steady at 2100 and that's at my preset 1 150/500 no voltage. haven't tried to push in gaming.

gettign 100fps 3440x1440 ultra AA txaa super sampling off

Yeah I remembered that one, but I'm on a x34 as well and my second monitor is just a silly 1600x900 Dell 60Hz panel redface.gif. The cable is cheap enough that it'll be worth a shot....and give me another reason to same-day ship some other toys I may want...

EDIT:

Just noticed that I got the 'Creator's Update' pushed to my system. I recall there previously being an issue where performance was spotty or decreased with GameDVR turned on in the Xbox app. I wanted to remind you guys to re-turn that off as mine was enabled again after the update.
