i tried this game with dual 1080s but at 4k and the game was locked at 60fps gpus begged 100%

I just couldn't pass the chance of an i7 for such a reasonable price.

Cheers!

With a box like that, I wouldn't even risk my motherboard and trying to boot that.

Not safe at all. Rather have a paperweight than an burning house

It's a cpu, not a fan controller.

It's fine.
The cpu was assembled on the system.
The box was in storage, so it degraded a bit.
It's normal I guess.

Haven't installed the cpu yet.
I am waiting on my new monitor yet.
Hope it arrives tomorrow.

Cheers

Cpu is installed.
I haven't had much time with it yet, but so far I settled for 4.6 ghz at 1.296v and memory at 2400 CL10-12-12-31-1T.

What do you think? Is the voltage too high?

Cheers!

1.3 is fine, seems like a reasonable OC.

My new monitor was finally delivered today.
So I could get my hands on the PC finally.
Was just playing Dying Light The Following and it is a big difference from the 2500k in minimum frames.
There are way less FPS drops and the frame rate is just much more consistent.

Can't wait to test some more games later tonight.

Cheers!

Manage to sell my old 2500k today.
Still got 80 euros for it.
That makes the 3770k upgrade a total of 70 euros.
Really happy with the bang for the buck of the upgrade.
Tried battlefield today at a locked 144 fps. No drops.

Cheers
