ROG Crosshair VI: OCZ Vertex 460 not recognized

As the title says, have the CH VI and a OCZ Vertex 460, and when I try to OC and the OC fails my boot drive sometimes disappears and I can't get it back. Sometimes with clear CMOS I got it to reappear and I have no idea why that would be happening.

The SSD has ran perfectly and I never lose it unless my PC doesn't boot due to failed memory training etc.

It's quite unnerving. My OCZ Toshiba TR150 gets recognised without a hitch, same for my WD Green 1TB HDD.

Changed the Sata port from 2 to 1 and it didn't help. Any way to improve recognition?

Got the drive back after a clear CMOS, reentered all my values for 2666MHz RAM (have 3200 but have given up on that until the next stable BIOS), rebooted, drive gone again. Hit reset, drive back.. it's mindboggling.

Wrote OCZ and ASUS support, maybe they know something.
