Help me buy tools for DIY PSU sleeving

Hey peeps,

I'd like to sleeve my Corsair RM1000x in green and black. Could you help me buy parts for that?

Only 24pin motherboard power, 8+6pin GPU power, 1x molex and sata power cables are plugged in.

So far I decided to buy ATX pin extractor.

And crimper.

I am really looking for must buy tools, not luxurious stuff. Anything elsedefinitely needed for sleeving?

Lastly, I don't know from where and what size sleeves or heat shrinks I need to buy.

Also is there any need for extra connectors?

If your just sleeving your default cables, not allot will be required. Sata & molex will be the hard ones if theirs multiple connectors in one cable.

Also their usually 2 double crimped cables in GPU & 3 in ATX cable. It's very hard to get those cables back into the connector due to the increased sized (It is doable). Some just replaced those wires with new wires & solder them in the middle, So they don't have to get those wires back into the connector.

Items Needed:

- Heatgun or a bunch of lighters (I suggest lighter, Heatguns usually have a wider range of heat and can melt your sleeving if your not careful)
- Heatshrink (Glue or Normal version)
- Flush cutters (You can use scissors). I prefer flush cutter, Plus only 5 dollars at Amazon.
- Sleeving (I prefer MDPC-X, since is higher quality)
- You can buy extra connectors, It's doubtful it will be needed unless you want to replace the default one.
- Terminals (Just incase you need to replace any)

Most can be bought from Mod-One. It's where I buy most of my sleeving items. Their also a bit cheaper on certain items compared to other sites which can charge you double the price for terminals & connectors.

Small = PSU cables, FP = usually used for multiple wires in on sleeving. Sata = Sata Cables (Duh).

All the Sleeving tools can be bought at Mod-One too.
