Peaks of temperature Cpu 7700k doubts?

Hello, a doubt. My chip is delid, it is 4.9 with vcore 1.3, in games the vcore is 1.28, but in the desktop I have peaks of temperatures of 65 ° C, it is the same as when it was not delid alone that happened from peaks of 80 ° C At peaks of 65 ° C, is this normal or will I have to reopen?

thanks

Yes, 7700k gets peaks like that, especially if you are running your RAMs on high frequencies and high voltages. Some say that it is related to the increase in VCCIO and VCCSA due to increase in RAM frequencies. I run my Trident Z on 3200 MHz with loose timings like 18-18-18-38 at 1.2v and my 7700k runs kind of stable. If I run them with tighter timings at 1.35v then I see high peaks and higher temps of 3-7C during both idle and load.

Ok thanks for the reply.. I also have memory g skill trident z rgb 32gb 3200 mhz, can I lower the voltage of the ram?

Every silicon is different. My RAMs came with timings 16-18-18-38 2T at 1.35v. I was able to run those timings at 1.25v with 1T command rate and I guess my 7700k was getting only 1-2C higher temps.

You can try lowering the voltages and test for stability with Memtest, Super Pi, etc. if you have already achieved best OC for your 7700k.
