Creator's Update broke G-Sync

Anyone else having this issue? After the update even though it says G-Sync is on in my monitor, I still get loads of tearing on games that I never tore on before.

Have you installed the latest drivers supporting the latest Windows update?

Geforce 381.65 WHQL.

Yup, was already on it.

Is Creator's Update optional at this time?
Yes,

I think is broken for me too. Before update FPS monitor counter and fps dont go over my refresh rate, Now it goes up of my refresh rate monitor... that happends when G-sync is nor working or not selected.....

Any update on this?

Cheers

Edit found this....

Found the solution:
Go to Control Panel (search for Control Panel)
Go to System and Security
Go to Power Options
Left side Click "Choose what the power buttons do"
Click the "Change settings that are currently unavailable"
Untick "Turn on fast startup"
Reboot

Edit.- Doesnt work for me....

Yeah, I had tried that solution to no avail. Someone on another thread said the update resets all of your NVCP settings and to change them back. I'm pre creators update so I can't see if doing this fixes it though.

I would roll back the driver to the previous versionThe 381.65 drivers are having alot of problems in many applications, games, and temps with the creators update. With 381.65 and the creators update installed BF1 crashed immediately after launching it. With the older drivers it works just fine. Nvidia has launched some pretty bad drivers this time. Here is the topic in the Nvidia forum

am on the creators update and the 381.65 drivers and haven't noticed anything unusual with g-sync.

can you use shadowplay to make a video of what you are seeing?

It didn't work for me right away either but going into NVCP and simply toggling the settings off and back on fixed it.

Mine looks not working too.. Also monitor shows GSYNC is not activated too.

Acer XB271HU - Evga 1080 FTW 2 - Tried latest hot fix driver too (381.78)

But don't understand - they said this is a hardware technology...

How can breaks with every software updates... Someone is lying...

Also in normally monitor was showing mode as GSYNC, but now;
