Asrock motherboard quality?

Hello,

I'm considering my next computer build. I've had mediocre luck at best in the past with Gigabyte and MSI. I've built quite a few systems over the years but never tried Asrock? Any opinion on their quality? I'm considering the ASRock Z270 SuperCarrier.

I used to be wary of their cheaper boards back in the day, but their higher end models have been pretty impressive. As always, web reviews and owner feedback are the best way to suss out the quality of a mobo, short of buying one and testing it yourself. Look at the competitors models and decide if the options provided suite your needs/desires.

I've got nothing but praise for the ASRock board in my sig rig. I've usually stuck with ASUS or Gigabyte in the past, but this one fit the bill perfectly. Solid build quality and it's cake to OC with.

Both my computers run the ASRock Z97E-ITX/ac motherboard and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They've been stable since day one and never had an issue. I also purchased an ASRock H270M-ITX/ac motherboard for my friends computer and it works perfectly.

I used to work retail selling computer parts. Sold the crap out of Asrock back then. So many Z77 Extreme4 boards. lol Main reason was that they were reasonably priced and very, very reliable. I can not speak for everyone but at the store I worked at they became the go-to option for most of the sales staff. We sold way more than anything else besides Asus and would get fewer of them back. I still use them today. I build machines for people still and use them as a sort of go-to still. Only ever had one issue post retail work. And that is the Asrock Rack board in my router. BUT, customer service was top notch and got it sorted super fast. thumb.gif

Another vote for Asrock. They make solid boards. Early ryzen boards had issues, but asrock seemed to be the only ones with less issues during launch.

Also, if you buy one with a rebate, Roger is awesome! thumb.gif

Thanks - not sure who Roger is.

I think you've assuaged my concern about the build quality - now how about the realtek sound? I've always done the best Creative cards I the past for gaming systems.
